Engenda achieves 12 consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards
Engenda Group is proud to have achieved its 12th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award, recognising our continued commitment to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our people.
While industry recognition of this calibre is always welcome, what matters most is what sits behind it: the everyday decisions, behaviours and systems that ensure safety is embedded across everything we do.
Achieving twelve consecutive Gold awards does not happen by chance. It reflects a mature safety culture that continually learns, adapts and challenges itself to do better.
RoSPA Gold standard is awarded to organisations that can demonstrate effective health and safety management in practice, not simply through policy. For Engenda, it is an acknowledgement that safety is driven by strong leadership, consistency and everyday behaviour. It reflects an organisation that plans work carefully, manages risk proactively and takes learning seriously. Most importantly, it evidences a business that treats safety as integral to how work is governed and delivered, not just something measured retrospectively or managed in isolation.
A key feature of our most recent RoSPA submission was our focus on organisational learning. In 2025, reflection on how we plan and deliver work led to one of the most significant developments in our business: the creation and implementation of our Project Delivery Process (PDP).
The PDP embeds safety management directly into every stage of project delivery, from tendering and mobilisation through to execution, close‑out and review. By integrating safety into planning, governance and decision‑making from the outset, it ensures risks are identified early and managed deliberately. This approach brings clarity, consistency and accountability across projects, supporting safer and more predictable outcomes for both our people and our clients.
Reflective learning is built into the process through structured lessons‑learned reviews, encouraging teams to consider both outcomes and behaviours. This reinforces a culture of openness, accountability and continuous improvement.
Our recent process improvements represent more than process change. They demonstrate how seriously Engenda takes its responsibility to learn before something goes wrong, to design safety into how work is delivered, and to continually improve, even when performance is already strong.
Achieving twelve consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards is ultimately a collective achievement. It reflects the professionalism, care and commitment shown every day by people across Engenda who plan thoroughly, speak up, challenge decisions and look out for one another. It is this consistency of approach that underpins our reputation for safe, well‑governed project delivery.
