We are proud to recognise the outstanding efforts of our Solenis team, who have successfully delivered critical works across two key project scopes demonstrating both strong operational performance and exemplary safety leadership.

On Schedule Delivery Supporting Critical Works

The team played a pivotal role in supporting the jacket pipework replacement works, delivering all assigned pipework safely and to programme. Their performance ensured that subsequent phases of the project could commence without delay, maintaining overall project momentum.

This achievement has been recognised by our client, Site Manager for BASF, commenting:

Overcoming Challenges to Complete Complex Isolation Works

Alongside this, the team successfully completed all mechanical works required to isolate Boilers 10 and 11, despite encountering significant challenges along the way. This work was delivered safely and in full, reinforcing our commitment to reliable and high-quality delivery even under pressure.

A standout moment from the project came during lagging removal works on the main steam line.

Glen Crosswell and Mike Chalmers demonstrated exceptional safety leadership by choosing to stop work and raise a safety concern. Their decision proved critical as further investigation revealed that their concern was a reality. Their actions ensured the hazard was identified and controlled before any harm occurred.

This highlights the importance of knowledge, awareness, and applying the correct behaviours to keep everyone safe.
