Engenda continues with apprenticeship recruitment

We are proud to continue our long‑standing partnership with Engineering College, Birkenhead. The Engineering College is one of the several organisations we work with to develop the next generation of skilled engineers through high‑quality apprenticeship programmes.

The Engineering College plays a vital role in supporting our Pipefitting and Installation Apprenticeship and Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship pathways, providing apprentices with strong technical foundations and hands‑on learning during the early stages of their careers.

Our trade apprenticeship programmes are structured over four years, with apprentices typically spending their first year at college, focusing on core technical knowledge, practical skills, and safety fundamentals. From year two onwards, apprentices join our operational teams, where they begin applying their learning in real‑world environments, supported by experienced colleagues and mentors.

This approach ensures apprentices are well prepared, confident, and capable as they transition from classroom learning into the workplace.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Ewan McQueen, Dylan Willis, Riley Kelly, and Finn Hogg, who have all successfully completed Year 1 of their apprenticeships at the Engineering College, and have now joined their respective teams within the business. Their progression marks an important milestone in their development and reflects both their commitment and the strength of the training delivered through our partnership with the college.

By combining academic learning with practical, on‑the‑job experience, we aim to equip apprentices with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to build successful careers while supporting the future needs of our industry.

We look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting our apprentices as they progress through their training and into fully qualified roles.
