Advanced Steel and Engenda Group
Why Engenda Group choose Advanced Steel for their 3D steel structure software
Engenda Group operate a number of term contract agreements with multi-national companies across the UK. These vary in scale and service provision, between completely integrated resident teams to cover maintenance, projects, outages, engineering and design; to regular repair and service agreements for certain assets on an annual or biannual basis.
The majority of our integrated teams are resident on Top Tier COMAH sites, giving us an expert knowledge of the regulations associated with the storing and handling of hazardous chemicals or substances.
Each service can be delivered on a completed bespoke basis, with varying levels of integration between the Engenda on-site team, Engenda off-site services, other subcontractors and the site owners’ team.
The integrated team will be able to access other services from around the Engenda Group:
A core team is embedded at the site in question, multi-disciplined in its arrangement and in constant collaboration with members of the owner’s team at all levels across the site. Each member of the team has detailed roles and responsibilities around the contract with outsourced services from sub-contractors also being controlled by the core team. These subcontract services are negotiated financially and commercially on behalf of the site owner and are then controlled and supervised by Engenda.
In a fully integrated model, the employee, be it of site owner or Engenda, are only recognisable by the logo which is present across their workwear and not by the tasks they perform.
The collaborative effort for services as varied as painting to hoist inspection are fully managed by Engenda giving the client a single point of contact for the cost management and delivery with constant KPI’s in place auditing the value of service provided.
All divisions of the Engenda Group (through centralised services and resource divisions) commit to the smooth running of the contract, be it as part of maintenance support or project delivery. Being a site incumbent contractor, project works are also undertaken from conceptualisation through execution to commissioning and test.
Our clients understand the tacit knowledge that Engenda have of the sites, their process, procedures and safety requirements and ultimately how their resource is controlled, managed and accredited. This day to day working collaboration, is simply extend further with the utilisation of Engenda and where necessary supplemented by sub contract provision again under Engenda as principal contractor.
Engenda also take a lead role in safety management across site. This is supported by a site based HSEQ Manager who can also draw on the resource of the group when required. These such activities and methods of work have been instrumental in the awarding of ROSPA gold awards on an annual basis.
This lead role is also true for the promotion of new technologies and practices across site through lunch and learn type events providing a new technology forum. where any such news can be shared with our partner for future consideration should this be a requirement at any time in the future.
