CCNSG Safety Passport

The CCNSG (Client Contractor National Safety Group) Safety Passport is the engineering construction industry safety card. Workers must have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport to enter many engineering and construction sites. As a result, around 30,000 people complete the course each year.

The course aims to provide learners with the knowledge to work safely on site in a range of engineering and construction environments. The certificate will then be valid for 3 years dependent on successful completion of course including written tests.

The course covers:

  • Introduction to general Health and Safety legislation
  • Working at height
  • Confined spaces
  • Permit to work
  • Risk assessment/method statements
  • Fire safety
  • The environment
  • Asbestos
  • Site transport
  • Noise and vibration
  • Lifting operations
  • Electrical safety
  • Incident and accident reporting

We provide 3 options for the CCNSG Course:

  • 2 day full course (£150 + VAT)
  • 1 day renewal course (£115 + VAT)
  • 2 hour test only (£75 +VAT)

The 2 day full course is open to anyone over the age of 18, but to be eligible for a renewal or test only the candidate must be in possession of an in-date CCNSG Safety Passport. Please note there is no longer a renewal grace period.
