Manual Handling

This manual handling course provides the necessary information and training for organizations to comply with the manual handling operations regulations.

The certification will be valid for 3 years dependent on successful completion of a written and practical assessment.

Course content:

• General health and safety legislation.
• Health and safety legislation specific to manual handling.
• Practical session to include:
• Lifting techniques.
• Loads and positioning.
• Transporting/moving of a load.
• 2 person lifting task.
• Route planning.
• Risk assessment.

This is a half day course at £100.00 + VAT per delegate.
