This manual handling course provides the necessary information and training for organizations to comply with the manual handling operations regulations.
The certification will be valid for 3 years dependent on successful completion of a written and practical assessment.
Course content:
- General health and safety legislation.
- Health and safety legislation specific to manual handling.
- Practical session to include:
- Lifting techniques.
- Loads and positioning.
- Transporting/moving of a load.
- 2 person lifting task.
- Route planning.
- Risk assessment.
This is a half day course at £100.00 + VAT per delegate.
