Engenda Group provide a 365/24/7 Maintenance Term Contract service to this integrated chemical site in Runcorn operating with a core team of over 70 M,E&I Trades Personnel and corresponding Management Team. The service provided by the team covers all management, supervision, planning, co- ordination and the provision of trade resources as required. As an integrated site, we support 3 different operating businesses across the facility.
Under the Term Contract, the team primarily services the site’s ongoing maintenance needs plus project works of varying values. Projects are single sourced up to an agreed value but we also regularly undertake larger projects exceeding this value, which are awarded on a competitive tender basis. The larger projects are undertaken by further supplementing the Maintenance Team with top up trades and staff to meet the additional demand, allowing us to be more competitive in comparison to other stand-alone bidders.
The success of the Term Contract delivery combined with Engenda’s ability to offer further bolt-on services has resulted in Inovyn placing a further Term Contract for the provision of Design & Engineering Services in 2016.
With a current core team of 15 designers assigned to the site this allows us to now provide further synergies to the benefit of both upfront design constructability reviews and TQ resolution at the construction end of the process.
With the nearby proximity of our Offsite Manufacturing Facility we also regularly provide further support to the site with the supply and pre-fabrication of both steelwork and pipework. These works can be undertaken as part of the Term Contract Agreement or as separate stand-alone works to suit the customer’s preference on a case by case basis.
